With snowshoes on your feet, you can set out to explore the snow-covered landscapes surrounding Val Rendena’s villages. Routes range from gentle walks through side valleys to more demanding outings towards the mountain summits.
There are countless snowshoe trails, varying in difficulty, length and scenery. Some cross forests and broad snowy clearings on the valley floor, while high-altitude routes open onto wide views of the surrounding peaks.
Around Madonna di Campiglio, several popular trails lead to Alpine lakes that sleep beneath ice and snow in winter. These frozen expanses are framed by forest and overlooked by the mighty peaks of the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello group.

Higher up, you can appreciate the scale of Campiglio’s landscape by walking among the snow dunes that stretch from Monte Spinale towards Grostè. Heavy snowfall transforms this broad plateau into a white desert of soft, rolling shapes.
